Scholarships Administered by CCEF

The foundation administers several scholarships available to graduating CCISD students. This page contains the details and applications needed for each scholarship the foundation administers.

James F. Bay Scholarship

For Students at Clear Lake High School, Clear Creek High School, Clear Brook High School, and Clear Springs High School

Value: Range from $500.00 – 1,000.00 each.

Scholarship Candidate Criteria:

1.     CCISD 2010 high school graduating senior(s)
2.     Students intending to pursue or currently pursuing a Teaching/Education degree
3.     Students must enroll in a Texas college or university
4.     Student must have a GPA of 3.0 or higher
5.     Student must participate in extracurricular activities or have demonstrated community service.
6.     Student must demonstrate financial need.

Candidate application requirements:

•     Students must submit two letters of reference, one from a teacher or instructor and one from an external or personal reference (employer, minister, etc.)
•     Student must complete at CCISD Local Scholarship application
•     Student must submit a one-page letter of application explaining why they want to enter the teaching or education profession. Student must demonstrate commitment to teaching/education, as related in their letter.
