Driving Impact: CCEF’s 11th Annual Topgolf Tournament Raises
Over $58,000 for CCISD Students and Teachers
The Clear Creek Education Foundation (CCEF) proudly hosted its 11th Annual CCEF Topgolf Tournament, bringing together community leaders, educators, alumni, and supporters for an unforgettable afternoon of fun, fellowship, and friendly competition—all in support of educational excellence in Clear Creek ISD.
What began as a day of friendly competition quickly transformed into a powerful demonstration of community spirit. Under Event Chair Kris Sturgul and a dedicated team of 11 volunteers, the event saw record-breaking participation that surpassed initial projections.
Thanks to the incredible generosity of attendees and sponsors, this year’s event exceeded its fundraising goal, raising over $58,000 to support CCEF programs that directly benefit CCISD students and teachers.
“There is something truly special about this community,” said Kris Sturgul. “Seeing our neighbors, business owners, and educators come together like this is a testament to how much we value our teachers and students. The warmth and generosity in this room today were even more impressive than the golf scores.”
The tournament featured exciting Topgolf play, contests, raffle prizes, and plenty of team spirit. This year’s event introduced exciting new additions, including the Longest Drive and Closest to the Pin contests, where lucky winners took home fantastic prizes generously provided by SeaWorld and L&B Transport.
The spirit of giving extended beyond the bays through the “Take a Tee” initiative, fueled by heartfelt donations from CCEF Board Members and community supporters. Attendees also had the chance to win from a collection of spectacular raffle prizes, highlighted by a truly unique Grand Prize Yacht Cruise & Lunch Package, generously donated by Educator’s Depot, Katie’s Seafood House, and CCEF.
Congratulations to Texas First Bank for taking home the tournament win and earning top honors for the day.
Funds raised from the tournament will directly support Teacher Innovation Grants, the Leader in Me program, Clear Horizons Early College High School (CHECHS), and National Board Teacher Certifications—ensuring CCISD continues to lead in educational excellence. CCEF extends a heartfelt thank you to all of the generous sponsors who made this event possible. Their support plays a vital role in helping CCEF fulfill its mission.
